Hand Ba’ is played every year in Jedburgh, Scotland. The inhabitants for the occasion are divided into two teams called Uppies and Doonies, according to the area in which they were born. The aim is to carry a ball to established points that allow you to make a “hail” (point). In the meantime, the ball can be stolen, hidden among clothes, thrown… A singular traditional practice that anyone who wants to test themselves can try!
